Welcome to Delaware Engineering Society

The Delaware Engineering Society (DES) has over 180 individual members from all engineering disciplines and practices. We represent civil, chemical, electrical and mechanical engineers who practice in industry, construction, private practice, education and government.

DES is a state society of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) with over 60 years of service to our members and the people of Delaware.

The mission of NSPE and DES is to promote the ethical and competent practice of engineering, to advocate licensure, and to enhance the professional, social and economic development and well-being of our members.
