The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and
Air-Conditioning Engineers advances the arts and sciences of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration to serve humanity and promote a sustainable world. Membership is open to any person associated with the field including indoor air quality, building design and operation, and environmental control for food processing and industry.

Membership in ASHRAE – the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers – is open to any person associated with heating, ventilation, air conditioning or refrigeration through such disciplines as indoor air quality and energy conservation, for example. Membership in ASHRAE allows access to state-of-the-art HVAC&R technology and provides many opportunities to participate in the development of that technology.
